Artificial Pruning as a Measure of Controlling Fomes pini in Second Growth Douglas-fir

Purpose

Dougls fir is the most important timber tree in PNW and fomes pini is its greatest enemy. Study wether artificial pruning reduces chances for infection at the point of branch severance.
