Ecology of Temporary Streams -- Leaf Degradation

Purpose

This study focuses on the degradation process of leaves that can be divided into mechanical processing consisting of sediment abrasion and biological processing by animal feeding. For this purpose, leaf packs in four different streams and within one str

Relationships between chlorophyll, spectral vegetation indices, and photosynthetic potential on the Oregon Transect

Purpose

Construct a tower and analyze vertical variability in photosythetic capacity, chlorophyll, nitrogen, and specific leaf area at three points in time- May/June, September and mid-winter. An ultra-light airplane will fly over the site at this time to collec
