Substitute Earth Anchor Test

Purpose

Ten 4" pilot holes will be augered approximately 5-6 ft. deep. A manta-ray anchor will be driven down each hole to a depth of 6-7 ft. Using test equipment, each anchor will be pulled out of the ground to test the holding capacity of the anchor.
